Rules

Blogomania is open for everyone whether student, professional, musician, blogger, gamer, grandfather, wrestler, unemployed or someone else. All you need to do is register for Cognizance and start posting!

There will be a total of 20 topics to choose from. The topics will cover a range of themes, issues and subjects. They may be abstract or specific.

Every participant will have to write on a minimum of 5 topics, with a max of 1 post per topic.

Rating for each post is calculated as follows : Suppose present rating is r and number of votes are v. A user votes R to this post. New rating would be (r*v + R)/(v+1). Each post has an intial rating of 0.

Total rating is calcualted as follows : w1*(Average rating of all posts) + w2*(Number of votes received/Maximum votes to any user)*5 + w3*(Number of posts by you/Maximum number of posts by any user)*5. w1, w2 and w3 being constant weights.

Every participant is supposed to post his blogs on his own separate accounts on wordpress/blogger or any other blogging site and then provide the link on the participant page of Blogomania.

After submitting each post, the user will be asked to copy-paste a line to their post. This is essential to avoid disqualification. Jargons aside, after submitting a post, you will be asked to copy-paste a line to your post. Do it to stay in the race!

The same person cannot vote twice for the same post. Once voted for a post, you cannot change your vote either.
